Tag Rescue operates the website (www.tagrescue.com.au)
The Tag Rescue website service provides a lost item recovery service. A customer receives a unique ID tag to activate and attach to their property.
If a customer loses an item and the item is later reported found, Tag Rescue will make best efforts to use the contact details provided by the customer in the Activation process to notify the customer that a lost item has been found. Tag Rescue will notify a customer either via email or sms when a tagged item has been reported found. At that point a customer will be able to contact the Finder and arrange to get the item back. At no time will Tag Rescue provide a Finder with a customer’s personal details. A customer may respond to a Finder and choose to provide them with his or her contact details. Ensuring that your contact email address and mobile phone number are correct and up to date is critical to us providing the service to you. Customers may log into their Tag Rescue account on the website to view or update their contact details.
Tag Rescue has no obligation to provide service to a customer who has not activated their tag or provided a correct email address or mobile phone number. Tag Rescue will offer the Finder a reward for finding and returning the lost item. Tag Rescue cannot guarantee that all lost items are returned to their owners and does not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage suffered by the customer in this regard. In the unfortunate event that a customer’s lost tagged items are not found or returned, a customer is not entitled to a refund or to any compensation.
Tag rescue will notify a customer when a tagged item is reported found, and we do this on a best efforts only basis. We are in no way liable for situations where for any reason you do not receive the notification. If you have either found an item or if you are the owner of a lost item who has been notified of a found item and you choose to interact with the other person you do so entirely at your own risk. Please be very careful to protect your safety and confidentially at all times. Tag Rescue takes no responsibility when finders and owners interact with each other. Tag Rescue recommends that if you arrange to meet to retrieve your lost item, you do so at a public location. Always choose an area that is well lit and any contact should be done in the company of another person.
In order to pay for the Tag Rescue subscription service a customer needs to provide their payment details. This information is provided directly to our payment providers and we do not receive or store your account information. Tag Rescue offers a 12 month subscription service. Once the 12 month period has expired a customer has the option to pay a subscription renewal fee (regardless of the number of tags activated on the account) of $7.95 for a further 12 month period. We reserve the right to change the price of the subscription at any time. Any change in subscription fee will not affect any existing subscription period but will apply to any subsequent subscription period. If you damage your Tag Rescue tag you can order a replacement tag for a fee on our website.
Tag Rescue, its shareholders, directors, officers, or employees, will not be liable (jointly or severally) for any loss or damages arising from the Tag Rescue Website or Services. While every effort will be made to deliver an error free and uninterrupted service, Tag Rescue accepts no liability for any errors or omissions on the Website or any delays or interruptions of the Services or the Website.
The website is for personal use only subject to the terms and conditions of this agreement. By using the website you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Tag Rescue reserves the right at its sole discretion to terminate access to the website without notice. Tag Rescue also reserves the right to update the website terms and conditions of use. The Tag rescue logos, content, systems and services may not be used without Tag Rescue’s prior written permission. Please refer to the terms and conditions page on a regular basis. If you do not agree to them please do not use the services or the website.
